Update 4.0.0: changes

1. Passwords:

In older versions of TD-CMS passwords were hashed with the sha1 method which is not very secure. From now on they are hashed with the sha512 method.


Update 4.0.0 beta 3: changes

1. Menus area in settings:

in the settings area, I have created a menus area which finally allows you to create drop-down menus on your website

2. redesigned page area

  1. The "Edit-pages" has now been named to "Pages"
  2. "Add-page" and "Edit-page" has been redesigned to a more modern look. That not only looks better but is also easier to use.


3. SEO

On the page and post area, you can add or edit SEO so you can rank up higher on google, bing or any other search engine.


4. Bootstrap

Since the bootstrap version that came along with v4.0.0 beta 2 was a bit old it has been removed.


Update 4.0.0 beta 2: changes

1. Upgrade program:

In this version, it's possible to update from supported versions to version 4.0.0 beta 2. Keep in mind that you can not upgrade from unsupported versions.

2. New license:

From now on TD-CMS is licensed under the GNU General Public License

3. db.php and start.php

In TD-CMS 4.0.0 beta 2 you no longer have to edit db.php and start.php yourself but instead, it's done directly from the installer.

4. download_helper.php

since download_helper.php was a bit pointless it has been removed.

5. templates

from now on you can upload templates directly from the admin panel.


Update 4.0.0 beta 1: updated admin penal.

In version 4.0.0 beta 1 there are 2 changes:

1. The Downloads Area.
The Downloads Area allows you to upload files to your website. That you want to make available for other people to download, and all of that can now be done through the admin panel.

2. The Media Area
In the Media Area, you can upload pictures of the following format (jpg, jpeg, png and gif), and all of that can now be done through the admin panel.

TD-CMS is now compatible with PHP7.0
